The hunt for the next Channel [V] Presenter is scorching with over two thousand people having already answered the nationwide call out for online auditions – making CHANNEL [V] PRESENTER SEARCH 2012 the biggest presenter campaign ever.
There’s still time to audition, so if you think you’ve got the goods to be the next face of Channel [V], apply for the best gig in the world.
From Friday 27 April, online auditions will start to close and the head honchos at Channel [V] will be shortlisting entrants for the next stage in the competition.
Closing dates for online auditions differ depending on state and cities, so make sure you check on the website what the deadline is for your hometown so you don’t miss out.
The Channel [V] crew will be going on tour come Friday 4 May for onground auditions at ten locations around the country with those lucky enough to have progressed to the next stage of the Search. We’ll be hitting capital cities with auditions in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth and for the first time, onground auditions will be held in major regional centres, thanks to Channel [V]’s partnership with Groovin’ The Moo Festival. That’s right; Australia’s biggest regional touring festival will play host to CHANNEL [V] PRESENTER SEARCH 2012 auditions. Channel [V] will be at every event: Bendigo, Townsville, Maitland, Canberra and Bunbury.
From these national auditions, the CHANNEL [V] PRESENTER SEARCH 2012 TOP 20 will be chosen and revealed live on The Riff, Saturday 26 May at 10.30am.
Now, in the event that you’re not selected for the next round of auditions, all hope is not lost. Get yourself to one of the five Groovin’ The Moo shows and you can audition for the chance to be the Wild Card in the CHANNEL [V] PRESENTER SEARCH 2012 TOP 20.
The winner of CHANNEL [V] PRESENTER SEARCH 2012 will undoubtedly have their life changed forever and will join current presenters, Danny Clayton, Billy Russell, Jane Gazzo and Carissa Walford to complete the Channel [V] on-air line-up.
