Getting the right actors for these two roles is going to be extremely important. They will be representing the entire film, and Ray would like to use the same actors in the feature film, once it’s been green-lit.

While there is not a budget for the short, the actors will be paid for the feature film. I would hold the casting sessions this weekend. The role is young, the film and crew are young, and this set will be a great, fun, professional environment to work in.

Ray is hoping to hold auditions this weekend.

Shoot dates are tbc, but will be around the 3rd week of March. Shoot days will not total more than 3, 8 hour days.

SUMMARY

Last Channel breaks down the walls of privacy when a young kid, nick-named “The Hammer", discovers a way to hack into every web cam on any computer, globally. We glimpse into the lives of strangers as they commit acts of love, lust, murder, and more. We watch closely as two post college roommates unravel their complex relationship, all the while thinking they are the ones in control of their lives. It’s not until ‘Hammer’s’ late night appearance on a talk show that we realize, these aren’t just actors we’re watching. After witnessing things usually only seen in movies, we realize what we are watching is in fact ourselves, real people, in real life situations, who, whether know it or not, have taken part in Hammer’s new website called ‘Last Channel". Bringing up the age old question, do we control technology, or does it control us?

Must look: like a controlling, mean, average looking guy. He’s an entitled know-it-all. He’s always playing mind-games and teasing the limits with his roommate, Vincent. Slightly annoying and sometimes challenging, he is hard to be friends with at times, although his heart and intensions are never truly malicious. He is an in your face, but lazy, slightly ADD guy. What you see is what you get.

VINCENT

Profession: Marketing Analysts.
Must look: Slightly taller, better looking then Ethan. There is a level of Vincent that must appear ignorant, but later reveals he is a lot smarter then he looks. And a lot less clean cut too. In fact, turns out, he may be more screwed up then Ethan is. (therefore must have both a clean cut persona and a darker side). Layer of unexpected truth.
