The short film will shoot maybe mid April or late April, this will be intestive two day film shoot. My film project is a simple one...but a strange one. My Idea is that, I want to shoot this short film in black and white in the style of the late 30s and 40s film era with a mobsters feel of the era with such influences as "Casablanca" and "The Maltese Falcon" and other gangster films of that era. Am a kind of a 'Method Director' that requires the moment and several takes to get that moment of human behaviour and emotional of what I want. My influence as a first time director is "Elia Kazan" who did films with "Marlon Brando" and "James Dean", "Martin Scorsese", "Francis Ford Coppola" and of course "Steven Spielberg" The actors that had influence's on me are "Marlon Brando", "James Dean", "Al Pacnio", "Robert De Niro", "Dustin Hoffman"(all the Method actors and actress's). This is just a fair Idea of my influences and the Idea coming across of the short film that I want to do.

This scene will be taken from William Shakespeare's "Richard III", between Richard III and "Lady Anne", as they have a confrontation and conflict between these two characters, as Richard III is a villain and a cunning cold blooded, corrupted, sadistic and calculated character, who finally manipulative's her and charm her by marrying her. This scene I envisioned is in the old bar scene with the stairs coming down to the bar, when Richard III kills Lady Anne husband "Prince Edward". And Lady Anne is in a emotional turmoil mourning with her two henchmen with guns or machine guns, Lady Anna is shocked when she see him struggling down the stairs to the bar after being shoot by Richard III. This is where Richard III confronts them with slyness and charm, holding his gun towards Lady Anna and her two henchmen, telling Lady Anna that he shoot her husband because he was crazy in love with her, which is not true, as Richard III is manipulating her with lies and deceit. I picture Richard III as a mobster killing anyone to get to the top to be a mobster leader as in William Shakespeare's original play which he kills anyone who gets in his way to be the king of England.

The language of William Shakespeare's will be the same as in it's day, but with a 2012 mentality to it. I believe with passion that this short film will be great, I have had this great vision to share with you and the burning passion that I had in my mind and heart for two years, I guess I was afraid to do film directing for the first time (as this is my first time directing). I hope this project will courage you to join with me to fulfilled this dream project of mine. I will the script with my Idea with the original language from William Shakespeare's "Richard III", and I will send the story board of the script, as soon as I organise the script.

Am looking for a talented Hair, Makeup & Stylists who will be able to help me to get this passion of mine off the ground, to do this short film will be a great opportunity to get funding to make a full feature of this classic play on film, that this is the only way to do it. Am looking for someone with a red camera if possible, if not then thats ok. I hope that you will join me in this quest to fulfilled this dream of mine.
