I'm looking for musicians to embark on a unique project.

I am a singer and songwriter looking to put a band together, but something that is a bit different from a typical band. I need other musicians who love what they do to create an epic sound with me! The style of music is alternative pop (take away all the cheese!!) with a slightly folk element. It's hard to explain I suppose. My music has gained me some attention but I want to bring it up a notch, to create more than just songs. I want to have a string section, cello, viola, violin and double bass. A guitarist, maybe 2.. A drummer or other percussion, a bass player, brass section, tuba, trombone, trumpet.. and although I play piano a keyboard player would be great too for extra sounds!

Currently it won't be paid but more a labour of love. That is not to say that it wouldn't be paid in the future. I want to get this up and running quite soon and start gigging with it, showcasing and presenting to labels and management.
