We are seeking talented Actors, Dancers, Models, Singers, Instrumentalists and Variety Artists, to audition for Team New Zealand for participation at the World Championships of Performing Arts travelling to HOLLYWOOD, Los Angeles, USA from 30th June to 15th July 2012.

WCOPA can be compared to the Olympic Games of the Performing Arts; it was established in 1996 and hosts thousands of performing arts contestants from over forty countries, over a two week period, annually in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA.

Contestants will perform before and be judged by entertainment industry elite professionals from Hollywood, Nashville, New York including talent casting reps from Disney, Cirque du Soleil and others.

This year, contestants benefit by coaching and mentoring at a one day ‘boot camp’ where category specialists are involved in training. For example, WALTER PAINTER is a seven-time Emmy nominee and a three-time Emmy Award winner for outstanding choreography in television, world renowned vocal coach – SETH RIGGS (vocal coach to Madonna, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Barbara Streisand, Cher to name a few), RICHARD BAKER from Millennium Dance Company, Los Angeles, New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts for Film and Television – will all have talent coaches at the boot camp.
