July 20th and 21st mark our first venture with Alan Bennett's monologues, 'Talking Heads'. We are looking for two ladies to take on these brilliant roles. We will be showing the monologues at the Taurus Bar, Manchester, with a view to possibly taking them onto a second venue later in the year. Susan
'Susan' is a vicar's wife. She is thin and nervous and probably smokes. Susan leads a life completely lacking in excitement, and in this long monologue she describes her day-to-day activities in minute, often hilarious, detail. A perceptive woman with a sharp eye, sarcastic wit, and palpable yearning for what is missing from her life. Must be able to do Northern/Yorkshire Accent
