Hayward is a young locum doctor who self-medicates with alcohol to reclaim his sense of self. With no true home or friends, he uses alcohol to disappear into an inebriated, romantic world of elegance, dancing and champagne. Unfortunately, the addiction bleeds into his daily world, and his health and professional life suffers.
A fantasy drama about a romantic relationship with alcohol and how it can replace the need for real connection.
The idea is to create two short dances for when the main character
disappears into his alcohol fantasy world. They don't have to be too
complex. One dance will be solo and the other with a partner. I would
like to have a drunk, romantic, disheveled Tom Waits feel to the whole
thing.
Location: New South Wales, Australia. This film will be shot in Sydney region from the 16th to the 20th of May.

It would be really helpful if you have examples of previous work. A demo real would be great.
I would love to hear about your influences and whether you have done similar sequences in the past. As you won't be dealing with professional dancers, you will have to work with restrictions to create something that looks beautiful, stylised and can be shot cinematically.
