Miles E Benedict is the groundbreaking feature film to be directed by Jermaine Cameron-Pinnock. His unique vision and creative style is set to produce one of the most exciting and original films to come out of the UK.The quirky comedy focuses on the mysterious link between the incarcerated schizophrenic Miles E Benedict and the namesake hero of his comic hallucinations. The plot follows a fragmented narrative structure with a script packed full of snappy dialogue and quirky stand out characters. Underlying all of this is the serious issue of the stigma that is attached to people suffering with a mental illness. The project aims to break societal misconceptions of people suffering with a mental illness that has been created by mainstream media.

The shoot is scheduled for 21 days to be completed over 3 blocks of 5 days and one block of 6 ( 2 days gap in between, 2 days of the blocks will be weekend days). We do not expect everyone to be available for the full shoot, but would expect you to be part of one block.

Because of the nature of the project it is being purely charity funded and relying on people as passionate as us to join on as an expenses only job. The production will be mainly based in Birmingham so applicants who will not need Accommodation in Birmingham covered by us hold a strong advantage over other applicants.
