Singer/vocalist required for production company deal and album project. Last project just signed to Sony/Columbia on long-term deal. Heavyweight management who also look after producer/writer in place.
This is a serious project with well-known top of the tree industry people. We are looking for a new Otis Redding/James Morrison/Marvin Gaye with a distinctive smokey voice and alternative/indie edge for a blue-eyed soul pop project that will most likely be licensed to a major label as per recent successes.
We are very experienced and skilled at what we do but we go about our work quietly and without a fuss developing and nurturing talent for long term success. We feed the corporate companies with developed acts which the then market.
Successful candidates will probably be male 16-24, 70's influenced, stylish, independent outlook. A cool Isley Brothers/Stylistics/Temptations meets indie pop interest an advantage. Unlikely to be urban or r n'b or d n'b, it's just not what we do. Not looking for singers with material or great writing ability but charismatic and engaging personality and voices.
Writing team currently in pre-production for album under direction of primary producer. We expect to be showing record companies our proposition by March 2012.
