Kelvin Hardy and seven other people are invited to a house in the country by an eccentric billionnaire, Malcolm Hunt, who tells them they are candidates for a global summit that will solve the world's environmental crisis. There are hundreds of these houses set up around the world, all monitored by cameras. They are told that one candidate from each house will be chosen. But on their first morning they discover they have locked inside the house, and that Malcolm Hunt has released a deadly virus on the world. He is trying to bring about the apocalypse, and he wants only one candidate from each house to be part of his new world order. What begins as a battle of ideas quickly descends into a deadly battle for survival.
