Following the huge success of the run at Hackney Empire, the show will now play for a season in the West End and on a UK tour.
SOUL SISTER, stars its heroine, the legendary Tina Turner, together with the tragi-comic anti-hero, her husband Ike. It sets Ike and Tina’s story and their music against the social upheaval of America in the sixties and seventies. It recreates the excitement, stresses and strains of the hectic touring schedule as The Ike and Tina Turner Revue criss-crossed segregated America and chronicles the events as their reputations blossomed and their marriage crumbled.
The production features dynamic live performances of both the Ike and Tina Turner
Revue and Tina’s solo work and includes a stream of hit songs, including Proud Mary,
River Deep Mountain High, A Fool in Love, Private Dancer, We Don’t Need Another Hero,
and Simply the Best. The show is a celebration of Ike and Tina’s music and their outstanding contribution to the music business.

Also needs to be an excellent actor, and have tremendous stamina for this role.
