Y for YOUTH has several exciting opportunities for talented Video Producers to create a wide-range of videos to assist us in gaining groundswell support and nationwide awareness.

Y for YOUTH is a new charitable trust established to provide sustained funding and resources to youth organisations and programs so they are able to scale up to positively impact a greater number of youth nationwide.

An important element to the Y for YOUTH business and marketing strategy is to utilize film for storytelling to share the vision and journey as the organization grows. The video content is particularly important for the use of PR and marketing and also to capture material for a documentary film in the future.

Initial key outputs have been identified as:

90 second “Founding Angel” promotional videos to inspire other financial supporters to get onboard
Promotional videos to raise awareness and recruit Y for YOUTH ambassadors
Video content around key milestones, events and youth program success stories to share with the public

The Video Producers will work closely with the marketing team and a wide variety of people to create the production briefs and will be responsible for filming, producing, directing and post producing material for distribution on social media platforms.

This is an ideal opportunity for enthusiastic and talented video production students with initiative, a high degree of video production standards and who are passionate about NZ’s future. We’re looking for people who are motivated to contribute time and resources to assist Y for YOUTH in being a catalyst in reducing our shocking youth statistics, while at the same time building their portfolio. The successful applicants must have own video camera or access to one.
