Aakash Odedra is a rising star of British Dance. He is widely considered one of the best Kathak performers in the world today in his generation. His first contemporary solo show 'Rising' has been a huge success with touring invitations in North America, India, France, Holland, Italy, Ireland, Turkey and more. The Aakash Odedra Company worked with world renowned choreographers Russell Maliphant, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Akram Khan to create solos on Aakash for Rising.

Based in Leicester, Aakash is now seeking to form a new commercial company due to increasing demand from clients to provice excellent quality dance-led productions. From Jazz to Bollywood, Contemporary dance to Kathak - Aakash invites dancers from a range of discplines to form an elite group of dancers available for high-end events all across the country.

Aakash seeks highly trained and highly skilled dancers to attend auditions at Dance Leicester Studios.

Please bring your CV with you, along with some photographs that you can leave with us.

The auditions will effectively enable Aakash to select a long-list of dancers whom will rehearse whilst Aakash is in creation. Each performance WILL BE PAID.

Dancers must be aged at least 18 years and and above, and they must also have the right to work in the UK.
