Zak is forced to become the new Grim Reaper of Australia and realises that the first person he has to kill is the love of his life, Sophie. The film follows Zak's dilemma as he tries to do everything he can to avoid carrying out his grim responsibilities. However, he finds in the end that no matter how hard he tries, avoidance is futile.

These are unpaid roles, however, this will be a fantastic opportunity to add to your showreel and be part of a fun and unique script. Catering will be provided on set.

The aim of this project is to enter the film into various film festivals.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Zak, LEAD

Zak, 24, is the typical young adult. He attends university and is caring, friendly and outgoing. The film explores a character who believes he can change his future in a universe where things are unchangeable. The actor will need to be able to express the element of shock and the want to get out of this nightmare through facial expression and body language. The role also requires for the actor to be able to perform some really basic action scenes and smoking in some scenes will be involved.

Jimmy, CO-LEAD

Jimmy is the Head of the Council of the Grim Reapers. He acts as Zak's mentor in the film. Jimmy absolutely loves his job and can't see why Zak is not thrilled to be a Grim Reaper. Jimmy is over-enthusiastic, unpredictable and moody. He is patient and gives each person one chance but then is unforgiving after that. He does not like to repeat himself and remains professional at all times. The role requires for the actor to be able to perform some really basic action scenes.

Sophie, SUPPORTING

Sophie, 23, is very social, caring, bubbly and girly. Throughout the film she is oblivious to Zak and his dilemma. She studies Photovoltaics and Solar Energy at university (same degree as Zak) so she is an intelligent, independent woman. She treats Zak like her other half. In the film they celebrate their five year anniversary over a romantic dinner.
