Stage Manager: Duties include – Setting up rehearsal space, assisting in rehearsals, organising prop sourcing, setting up stage, operating for show. Full time position during rehearsals (though some flexibility possible), evening commitment during run of show.
Assistant Stage Manager: Duties include – Prop and costume sourcing, assisting backstage during show. Possible opportunity to go on stage in non-speaking role. Part time commitment during rehearsals, evening commitment during run of show.
Wardrobe Assistant: Duties include – Assisting costume designer in costume sourcing, making and alterations, helping with dressing and quick changes during show. Part time commitment during rehearsals, evening commitment during run of show.
Experience is not necessary for all roles but would be an advantage. Please note these positions are unpaid.
Start date 23d July for all positions.
‘The Hunt For Red Willie’ is a ‘farcical romp’ set on a remote stretch of bog in County Donegal in 1829: A local landlord meets his end while in pursuit of the notorious Red Willie. Foul play is suspected and the hunt is on.
The play is fast paced and loads of fun, with a host of hilarious characters, lightning costume changes and many opportunities for innuendo!
