Doctor Who: Ascendancy is an ambitious, non-profit fan series based off BBC's Doctor Who which will feature on Youtube. It will consist of 4 series and will first air in October 2013. This is a four year project so anyone that wishes to be involved must be committed to the cause and willing to make appearances throughout the four years. Filming will be starting within the next few months but will only take place every few weekends (and possibly weekdays) for the next few months. Applicants must be from within the North West.

This is a great chance to simply have fun and create something hopefully everybody can be proud of, including the Doctor Who fans out there.

Expenses may not be provided but food, drinks and costumes will be paid for when required. A meeting will be taking place well in advance to filming for all actors, actresses and crew members involved to meet each-other for the first time and find the costumes for their parts. Some crew positions may not require attendance on set such as special effects artists.

Synopsis: The Doctor is dead and the Universe is in mourning. It's fate rests in the hands of UNIT and it's new recruits Dr. Sally Watson and Lloyd Fitzgerald. Together, they must shut down a gate in time and space which has opened over a small town in England, allowing the most evil beings and creatures in the Universe to pass through it. But who or what opened the gate and why?
