ACTORS NEEDED FOR FILMING WORK IN CAMBRIDGE, SEPTEMBER 2012

We are seeking 20 actors (5 adult males, 5 adult females, 5 child males (8-12yrs), 5 child females (10yrs) to create emotion-film clips, for educational use.

The films are being produced by the Autism Research Center, Cambridge University, and filming will take place during 3rd -14th September (8 hours work), and 17th-21st September 2012 (2.5 hours work, for which we will only use 15 actors).

The films are needed for a research project funded by the European Union to create a website to help children with autism learn to recognize emotions. The website will include animations and computer games, and the films of actors will be incorporated into this.

This research project will evaluate the effectiveness of such a teaching platform for children with autism.

Each actor will perform 32 emotions using facial, vocal, and bodily expression.

Auditions will take place on 16th-18th July in Cambridge.

The actors will be paid per hour.
