IOS NEWS NETWORK CHANNEL IN IOSRADIO UPCOMING on the go entertainment requires an ongoing role for 4-6 weeks (Pilot demos to possible permanent) comedic newsroom role with the option to continue to permanent part time work. Great gig for any on the go actor/actress that needs steady work to compliment other projects.

LEAD FEMALE ANCHOR (position not filled):
Looking to fill a lead female anchor woman roll for a comedic mobile network news program. Lead Anchor needs a very professional region diction speaking voice with relatively high enunciated vocabulary and diversified dual personality (professional anchor straight also with separate sarcastic commentary in parts with at times off the cuff sarcastic murmers but outward sarcastic but upwardly sincere). Role is often professional and sarcastic in ways that may often be missed...Looking for someone who can jump in on our first audition and run but realize this doesn't always happen. Winning candidate will receive full paid for the day (as others may to even apply) and ongoing twice a week shoot one day off prep with a weekly to biweekly salary for 4-6 weeks of 2 days a week on camera and half day off (day rates are negotiable based on talent). If it takes off, we will expand agreement further. This is for a newsroom satire role for an upcoming mobile network service channel (mobile based). Must have a professional appearance and be able to improv. when called upon or improv is a strong plus. Must pull off sarcasm as complete sincerity and then murmured insincerely and keep a professional personality the rest of the time reporting the news. We look forward to someone who can improv comedic performance for this role when needed off the cuff.

Temp Weather Girl (position not filled): Temp to perm.
We need a Temp. Weather girl to fill in on a onetime two day shoot. This woman will be replacing the weatherman's role as weatherperson for which he becomes very upset on the show. It turns out to be a ploy from the newsroom channel (not really) to achieve a stronger 'younger' male audience. She must look young and be extremely attractive in medium/professional slight revealing attire (no nudity). She replaces regular weatherman (not really) as a temp. comic relief. Weather girl is the Newsrooms cheap attempt at ratings to captivate a stronger younger male audience. She uses charm and looks to complete her role as weather girl, at the same time off scene (not really off scene) is later revealed to be part of an intellectual elite medical student at Harvard University who mocks the clueless lead Anchorman's advances. We expect a one time two day shoot with the option to possibly come back based on performance and membership ratings(!) but is a more temp role initially one day shoot. Speaking voice is required and similar requirements as the lead role anchorwoman in regards to a zero regional diction.

News reporter #2 (2nd to lead anchorman position not filled):
Secondary anchorman is a straightman to a lot of the acts. He would be the normal sanity to our newsroom madness and the classic middleman and comical in an offbeat sense. The only close to sane voice of reason amongst where there is none and is often ignored. Most of the jokes would be ignored by you. Must be able to keep a straight face at all times during any condition. Must also have a professional speaking voice and a non regional diction (no accents, doh). Most everything is humorously bounced off of you. Less improv but improv is a plus for any of our roles. Character is a by the book, no nonsense, kind of guy. Has a line that is repeated often, "I just want to wrap this up and go home."-looks at his watch.

ALL ROLES MUST HAVE A PROFESSIONAL SPEAKING VOICE. VM a plus but not required. No dialects or accents.

Shoot is the 17th of July 2012. Must contact us prior for role audition or stipends. Paid gig for auditions in very special cases and circumstances (if not stipend/expense travel for auditioni
