'Man in a Box [WT]' is a short 7-8 minute psycological film with one character and one location. We have a practiced skelenton crew, proffesional equipment and intend to release the result into film-festivals and competitions.
SYNOPSIS--------------------------
A dark, damp, room, brown in colour, empty by nature.
A man, withered thin, wearing nothing but a loincloth, and possessing nothing but a spoon, cannot shout, nor plead, or even ask why he's surrounded by the four walls that he is or why he's regimentally being presented with food each day through a hatch in the door.
Upon hearing for the first time, something on the outside of the room, his world is about to be changed anew. Why now is the world beginning to unsettle him?
Who knows how long the man has been in this mysterious room, or even why he is here. Who knows what the thuds from outside are, or the woman's voice, both sounds drifting in through this prison within.
Director Mathew Hammond brings a short film of a man trapped in this surreal prison with nothing but his mind to entertain him.
