ABC Music Group is a well established music provider and is seeking experienced music teachers for casual contract work during the school day teaching music to small groups of up to 4 students in the primary school environment (or private teaching in the evening).

Teachers required to commence IMMEDIATELY in the following areas:

HAWTHORN AREA (during school hours)
KEYBOARD (WED 1 to 4.30pm - commence $30ph or more for experienced teacher)

RICHMOND AREA (TUESDAY & THURSDAY 4.00 -7.30)
PIANO - Private lessons in studio environment (hourly rate relative to experience)
The teacher should be familiar with AMEB exams

APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE:

Technical skills
• Previous music teaching experience a MUST
• Competent playing skills and sight reading

Personal skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to relate to children and parents
• Able to prepare students for performances
• Self managing, proactive and reliable
• Possess a flair for motivating students
• Flexible and open to new approaches

Other requirements
• “Working with Children” check or already be VIT registered
• Own Motor Vehicle and drivers licence (not mandatory)
• Mobile phone
