Director: Louis Rossi. Multi award-winning director, writer and editor Louis Rossi is producing a music video for acclaimed progressive / pop band Schnauser
The video is for the track 'Good Looking Boy'; a tongue-in-cheek look at what it's like to grow up as a chubby, lonely, video game-dependent child surrounded by sporty, socially competent peers. The production budget is slim to nil, so unfortunately we cannot offer any payment, but we can guarantee an excellent showreel piece as well as potential success and exposure off the back of the project.
Louis Rossi is collaborating with cinematographer Rachel Lewis, and between them the pair boast two BFI Future Film Awards, Official Selection at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and numerous other awards and plaudits.
Role: Male / 15-17 yrs. / Caucasian.
The character represents the band's frontman in his youth. Overfed and self-conscious, the lad cloisters himself in his room and spends hour after hour on his ZX Spectrum, rather than socialise with his peers. The young man's confidence is further hindered by the idea that other boys his own age are better at sports, better looking and more popular with the girls than he is. We're looking for someone with a playing age between 14 and 18, with a smaller guy preferable. Don't worry if you're not naturally 'chubby', as we have a prosthetic we can use if needs be, although a rounder, boyish face would be preferable.
Please don't hesitate to apply if you require additional information.
