Synopsis
Guitar player Ameil Smith meets Jane Rhodes on a bench in St Johns Wood while busking and striking up a conversation with her. Jane is going to Wimbledon to view an apartment that she would like to buy. She is not happy with her marriage and might wonder how her life would have been different if she had picked another guy, and this is a chance to realize that she herself is not that different from the rest; in her own words, she believes “What we tend to describe as intelligence is a simply matter of interest.”
They continue to talk more openly with each other, with conversations ranging from topics about love, life, politics, and their observations of the city.
Chronicles of a one-day romance, ending with a performance in gratuity from Ameil over what degree modern industrialized societies are economically stratified into discernible classes.
