I was born in the time of flower children and hippies, but for my country it was the year when the Russian troops marched into Czechoslovakia. My 13 and 15 year older brothers exposed me to the music from an early age. At that time teenagers listened music of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin etc... and from Czech music, Blue Effect, Viktor Sodoma etc.. When I was little my favorite activity was singing the song called Solar Grave by Blue Effect, holding a ladle pretending that it is a microphone ... but the paradox is that these days Radim Hladik from the group Blue Effect perform my songs.

Around the age of twelve I began to practice my first chords on my brother’s Spanish guitar. I went to music school and during the 2 years I was there I completed the two cycles for elementary schools which normally takes 9 years of schooling. I formed my first band called the Dog’s Leg in the seventh grade - we learned to play by playing the popular songs of that time. Two years later, at age of 15, I moved on, and joined the group called Pilous, which was constantly chased by the communist regime (later called PHM, Xanthippe, and Explosion), with whom I played more than 200 performances with borrowed and original music. After the emigration of two of the band members, I started playing with the band AERO from eastern Bohemia. When I was at the University, I lost interest in playing at dances. I said to myself, no more of dancing music, and I finished.

In 1992, along with Michal Novinský, (who wrote music for the TV series Kriminálka Andel, Ordinace v ružové zahrade and the film Kuky se vrací) I composed the music for a performance of Oedipus - the scene for the Academy of Music Art in Bratislava.

After University I joined a nameless band with Jan Krížek in charge, and we collectively decided to call our band WALK CHOC ICE. With this band I had the opportunity to develop both my compositional skills as well as my guitar style. We played as support act for groups such as MUCKY PUP (1994) and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE (1994). We played as a backing band for IVAN KRÁL (Patti Smith, Iggy Pop) (1995), we played with Ivan as support act for David Bowie (1996), then also the WALK CHOC ICE played as support act for FAITH NO MORE (1997) and LED ZEPPELIN (1998) ...

I left the band in 2001.
I then participated as a lyracist of the CD 47 minut bez dechu with Petr Rajchert (ex-Chinaski), Pusa - Lenka Dusilová, 10 Ocí- Iva Marešová. In 2007 I composed and recorded music for the Czech TV documentary called The Lens in the U.S. A. In 2011 I released a CD with the band Poste Restante - Martin Pošta (ex-Laura and her tigers). I wrote most of the music and lyrics for this CD
.

After ten years, during which time I was in managerial positions in multinational companies, I am once again going to devote my time fully to music because I enjoy it, it fulfils me, and I know I am able to do excellent work which I can experience not only professionally but also emotionally, which as a business manager I can hardly do.
