Hi, thanks for visiting my page, my name is Mark McIntyre, I am I singer-songwriter-guitarist from Sydney Australia. I am a classically trained chorister and have been singing and playing guitar since age eight. I guess you could describe my music as a meld of multiple styles, my guitar playing is rock and funk but my vocal style is more jazz and folk. My influences include Something for Kate, Jeff Buckley, Muse, Josh Pyke, David Gray and other such great troubadours. My music is based on emotion whether that be uplifting or unecessarily depressing, it all inspires me to create something. I love powerful music with a message that captures a moment in time whether good or bad. My day job is a social worker at a mental health unit for adolescents and I feel this provides me with a wealth of experience and inspiration for songwriting.
