I have been playing and composing music for over 15 years and am now a Tutor at one of Europe's leaders in music industry education, and am involved with several projects as a writer and performer. I also sing and play guitar in my band Cranky Alexander. I sing and play guitar to a very high soul/blues standard. My guitar playing has been compared to Ike Turner, Jimmy Page, Hendrix and Slash. My vocals have been compared to Stevie Windwood, Ray Charles, Lenny Kravitz, and Robert Plant and my quieter styles are reminiscent of Al Green and Marvin Gaye. As a teacher I deal with contemporary music history and culture, as well as guitar, theory and composition.
