| My name is Maya Siegert, and I am originally from Japan. I am bilingual and have always kept myself in international/multicultural environments, so I am very open to new things: new ideas. I am not afraid of exploring what I have not seen and don before.
I have recently done my first photoshoot and am waiting for the images to come out to be available. I totally enjoy modeling and I am looking for opportunities to act and sing too.
I would like to become an inspiring, unique model/actress/singer. Being a positive impact on other people's lives is one of my goals.
I have been through some hardships and I would like young girls and women to turn to me when they need an encouragement. Through my work, I would like to seek my own expression where I can "talk" to the person looking at me, in magazines or on TV. | |

I have no professional experience as a model yet and I am currently building my portfolio with some local photographers. I received some personal training for modeling as a very young child. I did not think I would pursue a career as a model because I am short, but I have realized that I had always had a passion for modeling and that even if I am short, which is the case, I can still do print, parts, makeup and many more. I will keep myself open to any opportunities and will keep challenging myself to find my potential.
"It is my life purpose to love people, and bring joy to their lives. I believe that it is my Divine purpose that has been set aside for me, for a good reason. I trust in my heavenly Father that He will lovingly close doors for me when He knows they are for other people, not that it means that I am not qualified or anything, but just that I am different and have other concentration to pay more attention to. I can handle no’s pretty well because I have this Peace.
I grew up in Japan, in a very traditional family. My mother tried so hard to mold me into a “girl-image”, which was not just me. I am more unique than the stereotype, social expectations, gender roles, or whatsoever. Yet, there were times I sought conformity to the society just to gain her acceptance and approval, only to the detriment of my self-identity.
I am lucky to be me; I am so fortunate that I am alive as a person that I am. I enjoy being myself because of the above-mentioned identity crisis, if you would call it, that I underwent. I know for sure and from my own experience that difficulties truly are opportunities and that in fact, challenges are there FOR us, not AGAINST us, to make us better people with patience and endurance.
I am always striving to become a hope, an encouragement and/or an inspiration to those who are in need of something bright in their lives, which is one of the reasons I would like to become a model/actress. I was such a wretch, but I want to prove to public that everybody deserves to enjoy their lives to the fullest as the people as who they are, and that there is absolutely no human debris in this world. I pay close attention to my emotions and spirit to stay and become a positive impact on others lives, with an understanding that my life surely means something to other people.
Thank you very much for your interest in me. I am looking forward to hearing from you, and to our future work together."--From my resume.

School plays, Acting school (John Robert Powers)
I have done some monologues, dialogues and TV commercial scripts at John Robert Powers. My strength is comedies and dramas, but I am still seeking my potential, and willing to try new things because I am wonderfully complex--as a woman and a human--like everybody else, with many different facets along with an accumulation of life experiences. Every pain and every joy has enriched the person I am.

I am very real. There is no hype or pretense in me or my words.
