| About me: | | While I trained as an actor, I've done many things.
For a long time I was a Drama teacher... I love acting, either for stage or for camera or multi cameras. I love the different challenges each medium requires.
I do lots of improv, my strength being character creation. I've directed for stage and I've shot and edited video and film (REAL 16mm!!) so I think I have a good idea what works in front of the audience/camera. I want to go back to my roots and work professionally, full time, as an actor. In the meantime I act where I can, 48Hour film competitions, freebies for the NZ Broadcasting School and any play that I can.
A couple of directors have recently mumbled 'King Lear' and looked pointedly at me... Oh God, yes please!
When I have hair it's white and I'm quite happy to grow/dye it for any role. I'm good with accents - Irish (Nth & Sth) Yorkshire, London, Scottish, French, American.
Okay, I've had my fill of freebies, extra work, Walk-ons, etc. now I want serious paid roles! |
