I have been in a band previously, but we were in it to have a laugh, and didn't take seriously at the time. Since then I have wanted to get back in a band. We played just one gig, as a support act for another band who were friends of mine, but the experience of playing live helped me realise how much I enjoy playing. I have also been involved in a makeshift band for two separate charity concerts. This was great as I got a bit more experience from playing live.
I have been playing guitar now for nearly three years. It's hard to judge my ability, but I feel confident playing both lead and rhythm parts, and would be happy to adjust to bass.
I know that I don't have a lot of experience performing in a band, but I'm keen to learn new things and meet new people.
