Having lived in NZ for about 7 years I consider myself at least half Kiwi but I'm originally from Munich, Germany. My day job is being a designer & creative in advertising. So yes, I could be keen to add design touches to your film's credits or any promotional material. I enjoy acting in my spare time and would love to do so occupationally – once it pays the bills. At this stage I am glad to be part of Wellington's rich creative community, contribute where I can and gain experiences.

"Midday Tequila" (2008): In this film school short film production of a good friend back home I am one of the protagonists – a young gangster who tries to rob a bar with his side-kick, just to find out there is really nothing worth robbing and to get tricked and sorted out by a couple of quick witted girls.

"Tao Of A Hitchhiker" (2011): This year's Industry Project of the NZ Film School in Wellington. My role is a Rumanian backpacker who hitchhikes through the country with his girlfriend. They get picked up by a Kiwi hillbilly that ends up messing with them ...Wolf Creek style.

"Free" (2011): A five minute drama of the NZ Film School. Based on actual events, this is a short story about Nancy Wake AKA The White Mouse, a Kiwi spy that helped the French Resistance in WW2. My role here was the Gestapo officer who tortured and killed her French husband after she fled. I obviously took this role on for the art only. It was quite an odd experience and for a couple of days I had a strong feeling of guilt before I was able to remove myself completely from the character.

"Lily's World" (2012): In this close to reality, award winning short film about a pregnant teenager that has been kicked out of her parents house, I play Jacob, the suddenly surprised young fellow who got her pregnant in the first place and now wants nothing to do with the situation as he has a new girlfriend and other things on his mind.

TV & Reality

In 2009 a friend set me up and I was performing in a Maori TV show called "Tuhono", freestyling in my native lingo (German) amongst other international lyricists.

Film & Stage Crew

"Zora's Quest" (2011) - I worked as unit manager in this independently funded short film production. My tasks included liaising with food sponsors, preparing food and drinks for cast and crew and making sure everybody was looked after and had food, coffee and snacks available throughout the five day production.

Magazine

Being a designer I have designed a few of these in my times. Always up to do more of that ...and keen to be featured where you might see fit!

Being a designer and creative for my bread and butter, photography has become an indispensable tool to me. While most of the time I am being provided with imagery for my work, I own a DSLR (Nikon D80) with several lenses and am always keen to embark on shoots myself. May that be small scale projects or because sometimes only I know what exactly I'm after. My work has featured on several websites, in some of my freelance design work and recently also in the Earthquake Commission's Annual Report.
