| Hi. My name is Neil Rigg and at 32 I have been performing now for twenty years. I started when I was six and have never put my guitar down since! I have performed for various bands/labels and being a musician is my full time occupation. I also sing and play other instruments (Keyboards, bass, violin and writing too) I am committed and well presented and can cover a wide range of genres. I have performed UK and abroad as much as 275 dates in the year so I am used to traveling and working hard! I get on with everyone and have never come across a job I have not been able to do to. I have all the right equipment for the job and work well under pressure. I have a good ear and read music with ample preparation time. My work at the moment is predominantly session or solo work. I also teach and write for various artists. I am open book so I choose the work I want to do and therefore control my own diary and contracts. I am therefore for available for most work at the right fee | |

Performance
I have performed in well over 3000 venues UK and abroad. Predominantly Session Gigs but also as a solo artist. From small venues to large theaters. For professional cabaret or working celebrities/stars. Working alongside people like, Cheryll Cole (nee Tweedy, Ultimate Chaos, polydor, East 17, Ant and Dec, The Lighthouse Family and many more
Session Studio
I have worked for studios and artists from the age of 16. Credits include paper records, EMI, amnesty international, Century Radio, Steve Robson, Steve Wilson, Pete Dodds, Uncle Sams recording Studio residency and more recently Hed Kandi.
Education.
I have attended various educational programs that have enhanced my career. Music and Music Technolagy A level at South Tyneside College. Instrument repair and maintenance BTEC at Newcastle College. International guitar festival seminars, Londons Guitar Institute seminars. Misc private guitar tuition. Newcastle Royal Operatic Society. National musical Genre festivals and various other workshops and classes.

Repertoire
Being as versatile as I can be has allowed me to work with every area imaginable. I have taught and performed in nearly every genre imaginable. From Rock to Recital, Original works and covers. I like to think that my musical palate is quite varied and love anything challenging. Be it Jazz, World, pop or whatever I am your man.
Other Instruments.
I have a fair knowledge of keyboards and bass. I also play a little violin too. I can sing and am good at harmonies. I am good at sequencing and audio technology and also have some lighting experience. I have written for artists and can arrange and produce at industry standard.
What work do I want?
I am up for most projects that already have a professional status and a good fee. Whatever it is, Session, touring, depping, writing, teaching or theater I can safely say I can do the job.
I live in Blackpool but I travel all over for work. ie I am performing 17 nights in a hotel in Scotland this December. So wherever the job is based its not a problem to me at all.
I am willing to commute or even move if the job is right. I can assure that whatever the job is I can do it and am happy to come to any auditions if need be. I can provide references and photos and am happy to work in any pro environment.
