I am a professional drummer/percussionist and have played at many events with various bands on kit and club nights accompanying a DJ on percussion. I currently play in an all female percussion group. I have ten years experience of playing to a live audience.
I have recently played drums alongside many others at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics. I have also recently played djembe alongside 150 other drummers at a Hofesh Shechter theatre dance performance at the Barbican centre.
I play drum kit and am a tutor. I have a tama superstar custom hyperdrive kit, a set of A custom cymbals, and a set of drier more jazzy istanbul cymbals so can accomodate for any style of music. I am currently grade 7 on drum kit.
I also own many percussive instruments which are great for acoustic sets (such as djembe/cajon/shakers/tambourines etc).
I'm very keen to take on more club work in the London/greater London (and surrounding) area. I am also looking to join a function band and do more teaching. I have a car and am easily able to get around. I am very punctual and reliable!
