| About me: | | I know I was regarded as a talented actor when I set out on my career but the feeling of responsibility I felt I owed to my wife and new born child lead me to( as I thought at the time) temporarily curtail my acting career to provide security for them. The curtailment ended up a little longer than I originally anticipated but I am now able to begin again. I have worked in recent years with John Nettles who has supported and encouraged my return to the profession and believe I still have much to offer. I have a distinctive voice with the ability to offer a wide range of characters, emotions etc.
If Liz Smith can begin an acting career in her mature years then so can I! |

Acting experience
Following a successful start to my career in 1972 with work in theatre and television, including appearing in the West End, I decided for personal reasons to take up a teaching appointment. Five headships later I am now returning to my theatrical roots, and am excited to have the opportunity to re-establish myself in the profession.
