| About me: | | Born in Houston, Texas USA in, Piper Carty was an energetic child, training in Jazz, Ballet, Street Dance and Tap. She revelled in the yearly concerts this training bought, and went on to gain small roles with drama companies and in school productions – of most note, The Nutcracker and as Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
Migrating to Sydney with her Australian father, and her older brother, at the age of nine, Piper used her energy to excel in various sports. A keen soccer player, runner, swimmer and junior surf life saver, she won numerous awards at state & national levels. She also continued dancing and acting, performing in Sydney North Festivals as well as annual school musicals and plays.
The accent may have faded a little, but Piper’s continuing study of the craft of acting, and of perfecting accents at ATYP and NIDA, allows her to grow as an actor. Her passion is the screen and the industry is her life. |
