I have been acting since I was a child, without actually realising that what I was doing was going to become a passion and a career path of mine. I did a short drama course in year 8 at school which I picked back up in years 10-12. Year 10 was spent exploring television and screen acting. Year 11 was a TEE subject course with which my class studied A Streetcar Named Desire amongst other smaller plays throughout the course. We performed selected scenes from the play, I played Stanley Kowalski. Year 11 was also when I discovered Stanislavski's acting methods (the Fundamental Questions, the "magic if") which I put to use in my acting and have ever since. Year 12 was also a TEE subject. My class used the whole year learning lines, developing characters and blocking a contemporary retelling of Macbeth. I played Macbeth and myself and my classmates directed the production.

Also, in 2009 I attended a two day NIDA course which was held in the John Curtain School of the Arts in Fremantle. The course I participated in was for young actors and actresses who aspired to act in front of a camera. Our teacher was NIDA graduate Rob Jago.
