I began playing guitar 5 years ago at 13 years old, since then i was firstly a member and later a peer mentor in "the groove project" which was a young people's music project funded by youth music, playing original funk/reggae/soul music. I was a member of the South West Music School for 2 years, a professional development program for exceptionally talented musicians who take on only 15 people a year, from which i gained valuable experience many different musical styles and situations. I have gigged with many different bands and projects, entered local competitions (won an award for best original composition at Stroud's annual competition) and am comfortable performing and recording in many different styles.
I taught guitar from home for over 2 years quite successfully, as my main source of income before i moved down to Guildford.
Now at the ACM in guildford, i am still broadening my musical horizons, seeking out new people to play with, new styles to play in and most of all enjoying playing music!
