| About me: | | I have been singing since I was young when I trained classically but since the age of 16 i have sung mainly jazz, soul, pop and funk. At the moment I am singing at private functions, either with one accompanist or a full orchestra or band. Over Christmas I sang in a show with gospel choir Citizen K at the Barbican in London to a full house of around 2000 people. I have an eclectic tastes, I rate Marilyn Manson, Prince and Ozomatli amongst my favourite performers but you ll also find The PussyCat Dolls, Tori Amos and Verdi on my Ipod playlist! In my free time I enjoy watching Japanese Animation films from the masters at Studio Ghibli, seeing my friends, travelling and scuba diving. Acting experience
I have had alot of stage experience, and acted in many productions whilst at school, such as musicals like Sweet Charity and Return To The Forbidden Planet, and plays such as Tongues Of Flame (special commission)
I took Speech and Drama Tuition classes and achieved grade 5 with distinction.

Music experience
I sing mainly soul, gospel, jazz, funk and pop at a variety of venues, performing at both public gigs and private functions. I have a lot of recording experience and can sight read and pick up material quickly, as well as write top lines and harmonies. Recent performances include Blenheim Palace with Gospel group Citizen K, with whom I also sang a big Christmas show at the Barbican, London. Over the summer I performed mainly at private events with my function band and duo as well as public shows with my jazz band at venues such as Jazz After Dark in Soho, London.
Influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Chaka Khan, Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin.
