". As a soloist Rutene has appeared with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and a soloist in the 2008 Coca Cola Christmas in the park. Rutene was also part of the Southern Opera company. Rutene is currently the 2009/2010 intern at the Court Theatre (Christchurch Professional theatre company) and has performed in the children’s show The Ugly Duckling and is to appear in the summer Musical Anything Goes."
