SALLY JACKS

Sally Jacks (aka Jaxx) is a bright, bubbly and super chattyNorthern lass – a bit of a Lancashire hot pot if you like!

Nick names include baubles (she wears a lot of jewellery); blonde bimbo (boyfriend’s words not Sally’s!) and Pee Pee (‘I’ll tell you why later!’)

After years of am-dram, ballet classes and high kicks Sally got serious (not really!) and landed herself a place in the new line up of BucksFizz – alongside Mike Nolan and the dashing David Van Day. Sally soon ‘made her mind up’ to go solo and danced onto ClubLand Albums also performing tracks and touring with Ministry Of Sound and Daz Sampson and even performed to 350,000 people in Beijing (how posh is that!?)

Sally’s gift of the gab took her into tv and radio. Sharing a brew and a gossip with celebs and real folk with brilliant and sometimes sad stories to tell.

Sally designs for ‘Lotty Dotty’ in Paris, writes for a magazine and has her own fashion blog. She is dealing with Fashion, Health and Beauty at Bid TV. She’s fallen over, got hit in the eye and has also burped on air. She is just herself - what you see is what you get!

Sally also has a Weekend Breakfast show on 2br. You will also find her talking fashion, cover for ‘Retail Therapy’ and reporting on anything and everything for BBC Radio Manchester.

Sally’s an adrenaline junkie. She’s jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet and also swum with sharks – all for charity of course!

Coming from a large family of two brothers and one sister Sally is still very much a mummy’s girl because she is sooooo useless in the kitchen. She actually burns toast.

Sally Jacks (AKA Jaxx) started performing at an adolescent age in professional musical theatre. Many successive early stints in amateur productions developed into a full time vocation within the realm of the charting pop scene.

A performer at over 2000 live events in the UK, Europe and Worldwide’, her highlights include performances at: the reputable ‘G.A.Y’, audiences of 20,000 strong at the Antwerp Arena and 100,000 at the Finsbury Park ‘Mardis Gras’. The latter of which, she was billed alongside the likes of Kylie and Samantha Mumba.
Her credits also include numerous radio and television appearances on GMTV, THIS MORNING, BIG BREAKFAST, WEEKEND WATCHDOG, CHILTERN FM, ROCK FM.
Sally is triumphantly having a well received solo career, and she has the drive of a dynamo and being a trained dancer also helps with the live shows.
Sally performed to 68,000 at Manchester Uniteds ground for the Rugby Grand Slam Final.
‘Disco InThe Clouds’ by Dougal and Gammer was out on the ‘Dance Energy’ compilation with ‘Ministry Of Sound’ in 2007.
‘SKY’ by Divine Inspiration was released in Poland and Spain.
The very well known Dolly Parton classic ‘9 to 5’ Sally has covered. It has gone top 10 in both Dance and club charts and has been produced by none other than
Uniting Nations need we say more. When Sally performs up and down the country the audience actually begin to chant for this track.
In the summer of 2007 she felt extremely honoured to be asked to perform at The Royal Albert Hall.
Sally had the chance to work in Beijing in October 2007 at ‘Chaoyong Park’ along side Ian Davis and Lisa Scott Lee where the Chinese were so welcoming
(Xie Xie Beijing).
2008 saw a track signed to Hard2Beat with Bass Slammers Called ‘Dancing with An Angel’, plus a track on a Happy Hard Core Album which she has co-written.
Sally will be heading back out to China, Poland and America doing her live show.
Sally had the privilege of working with Tao Cruz, NDubz and Same Difference in November 2008.

Dougal, Gammer and Sally had there original material on CLUBLAND 14 which was the No 1 selling album of Nov 2008 under the name of 'CLUB GENERATION'.
In April of this year Sally performed at the Alexandra Palace.
‘Rainbow InThe Sky’ Sally has featured on with Bass Slammers is out to buy on BIG TUNES-Ignition.
August 2009 performed at Key 103’s funday with the likes of Beverley Knight and then Manchester Gay Pride alongside Peter Andre

Sally is also a TV and Radio Presenter (Local Commercial and BBC) with experience in Live TV and interviewing people from all walks of life as well as celebs.
