PLYMOUTH singer-songwriter Sam Ho is enjoying royal recognition – with an invitation to be an ambassador for the Prince's Trust. In his new role, Sam has been asked to perform at the charity's glittering regional awards night. He was also nominated for one of the trust's Young Achiever awards. The 28-year-old credits the Prince's Trust with helping him get on the road to becoming a full-time musician. He served four years when he was a teenager, and discovered music while behind bars. After his release (10 years on)the royal charity proved vital in helping him to realise his dream of making a living from performing. Sam said: "The Prince's Trust was really helpful. They gave me a chance at fulfilling my dream and I feel amazing being chosen as an ambassador. I'm over the moon." As an ambassador Sam will go to a range of events, ranging from prison visits to corporate gatherings, to talk about how music and the Prince's Trust changed his life
