SARAH OLIVIA-LAWRENCE – PRESENTING BIO

Sarah got her first taste of presenting as the Sports & Weather Correspondent on the breakfast TV show, “Wake Up Perth”. She soon moved up in the ranks, adding the title of Co-Host to her credit and presenting over 100 shows live-to-air.

Sarah’s next challenge came at the expense of over 2,000 other hopefuls when she was awarded a place in the final four of MTV’s search to find their next presenter. The journey through the live auditions and subsequent voting stages of this competition was made into a reality TV show documenting the progress of the finalists and was hosted by Jackass star Bam Margera. Shortly after this whirlwind experience at MTV Sarah relocated from Perth to Melbourne and immediately began working as a presenter.

Sarah has worked the red carpet at many high profile events and parties including the ?L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the BWM Melbourne Cup and Caulfield Guineas Day. She has also hosted several large scale soirée’s, addressing over 500 guests at each event, such as her continued work for the Australian Asthma Foundation, which has risen over $200,000 since its inception.

Sarah’s last job before making the move to London was hosting a highly confidential kids cooking show! Sarah is now looking forward to bigger and better opportunities on this side of the world.

DJ BIO
Sarah is a fresh and exciting DJ born and raised in Australia. Always a fan of electro house due to her upbringing, a move to London saw her become involved in the deep underground house music scene.

After training at the London Sound Academy in Camden, Sarah has made very big things happen in just a matter of months. She was scouted and signed to deep house label Eivissa Soul (www.eivissasoul.com) in 2012 and has already played at renowned venues across London such as Ministry of Sound, Supperclub, Cargo, Cafe 1001, 93 Feet East and The Egg. Sarah also played for BYRDZ at Hotel Es Vive in Ibiza in July. She was also one of the supporting DJs at a Sold Out! event headlining UMEK earlier this year at the Coronet.

An opportunity has recently arisen for Sarah to pursue the scene in Abu Dhabi where she will be based until March 2013. With nothing but time on her side, she is turning her hand to production. Stay tuned....
