| About me: | | Hey there my name is Emma, I recently won Heart FM's search for a star and appeared on Jasper Carrotts "Rock with laughter" In december at the NEC Arena performing alsongside,Shaking Stevens, Chris De Burgh (siand finale with him) and Jamellia. Im a singer and presenter (currently presenting banned-produxionstv.net), and singing for Partners in crime.I have worked in music both solo and as part of a band, have done hunderds of gigs, am lively, passionate, funny, good looking, motivated, and talented.I made three videos with my old band kharma.
last year i also worked on an duo project called smila( please see bbc web site for birmingham radio interveiw and live performance) I have also collaborated with rapper "Bones" The single "stand by your side" is now available to buy
as part of 'Smila' I performed three BBC live sets and we also had regularly airplay on 105.2 kerrang unsigned play list. |

i was shortlisted for miss teen queen in 2007, and had a photoshoot in london, this is the onlt modelling i have ever done on a professional level,i have also done it for friends who have a passion for photography and art.

Television experience
I am a the presenter for bannedTV com. An internet music channel and video production company My most recent interveiw was with Bowling for soup on their tour with wheatus which can be found on the site at the moment. We have had some of our work aired on BBC local TV. Music experience
I have just won Heart Fm's "Search for a star" and appered on Jasper Carrots "Rock with laughter at the NEC Arena, alongside, Shaking Stevens,Chris DE bURGH (who I also sang finale with) and Jamelia
.I was offered my first record deal two years ago, but It wasnt what I was looking for. Below is a brief history
2001 -2004 lead singer for Birmingham's leading female fronted band "Kharma" for three years,we made three videos - recorded two ep's and made a single"Mr evasive" to go with the video. I have performed over 500 gigs all over the uk as part of a band,have also performed/written with an acoustic duo, and acoustic band and solo. I studied music for two years and got a Btec nat dip in popular music. I have done session vocals for a number of artists, most recently a dance /pop song with producer Gavin Monaghan (Nizlopi/the Editors) and have recently collaberated with newly signed rapper"Bones" we have worked on several tracks together including the single "Stand by your side" now available to buy www.bonesuk.co.uk
my voice and apperience are versatile. I was classically trained when I was young, went on to study popular music so i can and sing in a number of styles,from rock to acoustic to pop.Im a passionate performer and I work hard. Last year I was part on an acoustic duo called smila we have an interview and live performance on the bbc wesite, look at bbc wm/smila
I'm currently lead singer for Birminghams" Partners in crime" a rock/pop covers band working three times a week and booked until early next year.

Entertaining experience
I currently front a covers band "Partners in crime" www.partners-in-crime.co.uk performing three times a week.I have been singing lead in a couple of bands for over five years and have a lot of experience, more recently I sang to 13,000 people at the NEC areana.
