| About me: | | The years of my somewhat mispent youth have left a few lasting marks (literally) on me (misc. tatoos/scars, etc.), but I managed to survive it all with a better than good opinion of myself. My inward angst never defeated my healthy self-respect & survival instinct, thank the gods. I'm not full of myself, but am definately a typical Leo, that is to say, my over active self-worth keeps to itself, but it's alive and kicking. Somehow, I've always thought that I was meant for "something", or to "do something", significant in some way or another. All my life I've been waiting for the world to wake up & notice me. I'm just not sure what precisely for (my writing, art, photog., some other untapped brilliance?). I used to live downtown TO on Queen West. lived thru lots of sets etc. Even worked (trades; painting, carpentry...) on a few, had a close friend who was a driver in the union. I always wondered... but my outward appearance (tat's etc.) held me back. Things have changed so... |

Modelled for Thumpers Salon in my late teens (Halifax hair studio late 80's) for a number of years. Did Outdoors Trade Shows throughout the NEastern U.S. for 3+ years (mid/late 90's hunting/fishing/ outdoor adventures Shows - working booths & crowd). Earlier "acting" experience was standard school productions (I almost always got the female lead or other significant role - lived all over Canada, so each new school meant new "auditions" to show them "what I had".) I now have more than avg./a few tatoos (arm bands +++. Can be displayed or not, as required). Am told I'm attractive & have a distinct look. Am also told I have a "trademark/classic" Leo personality and presense (good/bad... you decide. I'm proud of it!!!) Ultimately, hope modelling leads to bit/extra parts which leads to lead acting roles! (have to have dreams/goals right?!) I'm just looking for an opportunity to show my stuff! A reasonable Chance?! A "Foot in the door". Thanks for your time.

Magazine experience

MVA (snowmobile) accident Mar. 31, 2004 left me with a "catastrophic brain injury". Short/long term memory not great, some other stuff too, but not noticable to the casual observer! Family & friends/loved ones were warned I may not know who I was, never mind them, and may not walk, talk etc... by people at the four hospitals I was treated at over the almost 3 mos. after accident (which started with coma for 5/6 days after first of 2 helicopter flights, from scene of accident (frozen lake near our wilderness cabin in Northern Ontario Canada)My loved ones were warned to not get their hopes too high as I may not even know who I was let alone who they were and may well need diapers for the remainder of my life (not, thank the Gods!)! At the 3rd hospital in London, after threatening to hit a nurse if she helped me out of bed support/lifting my head at my neck I was sent for MRI's and found to also have a broken neck (fractures to C1 and C3??)! I have recovered more than remarkably based on original expectations from misc. specialists. Had to force myself to "be able" to read, which was very important to me. This is a long, much more involved story than I can realistically explain here! Let me know if you want more details. I Will also say that my life has been a lot more interesting than most on the whole. I've long been encouraged to put it in a book (before the accident). O - had to have reconstructive surgery on my shoulder (clavical bone was seperated & stuck out/up against the skin, rather distressing for others to look at, or to myself when disrobing!).
