On Saturday the 28th of April, I was crowned Miss World New Zealand 2012 and in less than 4 months I will be competing in Miss World held in China! I have had so much success since joining StarNow last year! I joined an entertainment agency & hosted the Live Happy Feet Show, travelling around QLD. I just finished singing on an album with an up & coming rapper in Brisbane, writing the lyrics & melodies. I am doing live gigs & recording with a classical guitarist from Canberra. I signed with an acting agency that loves me! I'm working with a producer on song demos for record companies, & finally, I was approached by 'Beyond The Darkside - The Ultimate Pink Floyd Spectacular' tribute show, to audition as a backing vocalist, & I got it! I just did my first show with them on the Gold Coast, & I am preparing to go on tour with them around Australia & New Zealand. StarNow is the best self-promotion tool anyone can use. StarNow's Fantastic! I was contacted by an agent after only one week and the casting calls for TVC's, Short Movies, Modeling and Music, keep coming in. From the angry guy at the cricket for KFC to the face of 'Industries' winter clothing campain last year. I've been in shoots with Jennifer Hawkins and Sarah Stevens. Played a homeless man in a short movie Human Touch screened at Dungog Film Festival, seen alongside Holly Valance in a Fosters commercial in the UK. An Extra in the Great Gatsby out next year. The ride has been amazing!!! And now after applying to be the lead singer of an existing Sydney rock band Sticky Mess we're just about to cut our first album. StarNow has given me the opportunity to network and take some control in my career. view profile

It's a great way to learn about the different types of work available, and allows you to pitch for exactly what you want - or even stumble across dream roles that you never thought existed! I joined StarNow a few years ago and ever since i have been involve in great projects with MTV, many music videos, great photo-shoots Lynx Commercial, Presenter for Sky, won a modelling contract and I am able to do what I love full time now, Thanks to StarNow and 2012 looks even more promising with a part in a big film coming up. view profile
