Dylan Foster
vocalist / songwriter / vocal coach
Dylan Foster has established himself as an outstanding performer, musician and composer through countless live performances all over the world, sessions for chart topping artists and writing credits on successful releases. An accomplished vocalist and multi instrumentalist, his musical influences include Jazz, Soul and Pop. Dylan’s repertoire of standard and popular material is endless and he has shared the stage with some of Australia, Asia and Europe’s most respected artists.
Originally from Sydney Australia, Dylan moved to London nine years ago and immediately gained local recognition fronting some of the top show bands in the U.K. at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Alexandra Palace, Grosvenor House, The Savoy and The Ritz and for the past seven years has been a member of one of the world’s most famous a-cappella groups, Flying Pickets. The group performs an average of eighty shows per year across Europe, Asia and South Africa. Dylan is featured as a lead vocalist, composer and arranger on three of the Flying Pickets ten albums. In 2007 he stepped out of the group to further his career as a solo artist headlining at Singapore's newest, largest and most popular live entertainment complex, St James Power Station. Dylan performed up to six shows per week backed by a resident big band.
Aside from performing and recording, Dylan gives regular vocal master classes and workshops across Europe and Asia, to groups ranging from small vocal ensemble, to choirs and large audiences. He has lectured at leading music education institutions in the U.K. and has coached a number of major recording artists. Dylan’s other interests include fitness and dance.
