Music experience
My musical career spans the last 26 years and in that time I have played in many backing bands for shows, tours, and festivals, throughout Australasia, working alongside many of New Zealand’s finest professional entertainers. Since 1990, I have also performed in the backing band for most major country music awards throughout New Zealand including the prestigious N.Z Gold Guitar Country Music Awards of which I have been (and still am) in the backing band for the past 17 years. In recent years, I have had the privilege of being asked to do several tours thanks to Gray Bartlett and Pacific Entertainment. These included the “All The Best” nationwide tour, which included Gray Bartlett, Brendan Dugan, Jodie Vaughan and Kevin Kennedy (Curly off Coronation Street) from the U.K. Also an 8-week Australasian tour with the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Kenny Dale from Texas was another successful tour organized by Joy Adams from Stagecoach Promotions,and more recently in 2008,A North Island tour with Showcase Entertainment Group Ltd,who brought out Morgan Kent:An outstanding entertainer from Australia who performed a Rod Stewart Tribute show.Also I work with Limelight productions in Auckland, catering for the corporate market and working alongside N.Z legends Tom Sharplin, Shane Hales and Celine Toner, performing 60’s rock, classic rock and tribute shows,and also band work involving 80's music. I have traveled extensively throughout the world and welcome the opportunity to do more, through my music.
