Actor who has worked with children and managed staff for a Live Event - QLD
Once again working with a renowned International brand, Maverick will be executing a national tour kicking off in NSW in April 2012. This event is aimed at children aged between 8-12, and will be set out in six different work shops that will cater to approximately 15 children each, each with a group leader. We need someone to manage and coordinate all these workshops, the children and staff as a whole.
To be eligible for this role we require someone who feels comfortable inspecting a wide range of activity with children but also experienced/feel comfortable with managing staff. Great problem solving skills are also a must, as you will be required to deal with any issues that may arise with the children and parents!!
Qualifications in either Education or child care, and correct "working with children checks" are preferred and someone who has experience in organising sporting facilities or overseeing large groups of children on a regular basis will be highly regarded.
Majority of work in school holidays with some weekends, starting week commencing 22nd June 2012. Must be available and flexible during these times
This role would suit a substitute teacher in between contracts, recent graduates in teaching/child care and someone who loves kids and working with them
Highly competitive salary rate with some national travel for the right person
Payment: $350-$400 day rate
