Hi, I'm Hannah Ayonahs…a multifaceted performer. I'm highly versatile however 2 elements are at the core of my music experience...faith and personal experience...more about that later

I have a dynamic, distinctive and captivating voice with my core range being Low Eb to the C an octave above Middle C. Many would call it "soulful"

I mainly sing "by ear" but am now learning to read and write music

Starting out from around age 8 I began singing, composing dance acts at schools and also joined my local choir.

I found a true love for Gospel music when British pop singer Cliff Richards released “The Millennium Prayer” in December 1999, consisting of my daily devotion (The Lord’s Prayer), which I then performed the same week at a charity event hosted by my school.

Based on personal experience my debut single “Survivor”, released March 2015, reveals my inspirational vision to reach and empower the next generation, who I believe “want to communicate with God in our common language without pressure or having Jesus forced down their throats, but rather require assistance to connect with understanding and a grateful heart; whilst receiving spiritual fruits”.

My musical journey is really mixed and varied...eclectic even. I started out as a young, unsure singer, listening to different musical genres from classical, jazz, pop to rock, gospel, RnB and hip-hop. The artists that influenced me include Aerosmith, The Beatles, Whitney Houston, Lauren Hill, TLC, Spice Girls, Mary Mary and the list goes on. I am now a bona fide contemporary Christian singer who is proud to be a believer, having a true and undying passion for ministry and music.

Professionally I am really fun to work with. I have the discipline to "stick to the script" (#LifeStories Volume 1) and sing as required. I can become very playful with music when allowed to flow in my element and I'm always open to trying new things. Not surprising with the type of music I previously chose as favorites as a young girl.

Originality is a key element in my approach to music. I am determined not to sing ‘typical songs’ in the ‘typical styles’ so I sound like everyone else, but to always give more than just words on a track (lead or backing), and share emotion, experience, heart and that little extra

Dancing ability

Dance styles
  • Contemporary

In my earlier years I attended Bacon's College during summer holidays and was a part of their leading contemporary dance group. I also performed at other schools and events (e.g. carnivals/festivals) holding my own alongside other very talented dancers, some of whom are now professional choreographers, dance teachers and music video back up dancers.

Though not a trained professional I believe (and have been reliably informed) that I have natural skills and I'm a very quick learner. I can pick up routines quite easily and have turned my hand to ballroom and ballet dancing in the past.

My approach? Focus! Once I'm focused on something I can nail it quite quickly and will practice, practice, practice till it's perfected.

I keep up with the current moves by watching music and YouTube videos as well as networking with dance professionals, getting schooled by dance savvy youngsters and getting them to teach me what they know. I'm not proud :-)

I have a passion for dance and I've found it to be a great wellness tool being a great form of exercise as well as a proven way of relieving stress and expressing myself

I never tire from having a good dance.
