I have experience in amateur dramatics, musical productions, pantomimes and radio work (when younger) and have dabbled in the usual pursuits of judo, choirs, tai chi, tap dancing, aerobatics, handicrafts, knitting, crochet, sewing, line dancing, accordian playing, etc as one does. Since 2003, I have been a Supporting Artist in several movies (Harry Potter, Children of Men, Notes on a Scandal, Thor II, Les Mis, Suffragette) and television (Footprints in the Snow, The Last Detective, Sherlock, Atlantis, Trollied) productions with Casting Collective, 2020, Guys & Dolls and Ray Knight. I have taken direction and been featured several times.

Depending on the light (!) I am mistaken for South American, Native American Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian, Mediterannean, from the South Seas etc. My accent has slight North American touch to RP English but is seldom correctly placed! I have been used as a narrator (on radio) as a neutral link. Until recently I worked as a BSL Communicator having started in 2000. Past careers include State Registered Nursing, Office Management, Computer Training, Conference Coordination, Event Organisation, training office staff and my own business of Computer Services (since 1984). In between I fit in charity work, WRVS volunteering and until recently working with Shopmobility in my town of Maidenhead.

Modeling

Modeling experience

Beginner, starting out

None recently - but bridal outfits in my late teens.

TV & Reality

I have been involved in various TV productions including Atlantis, Sherlock and various commercials (EE, Take a Break) since 2003 as well a reconstruction documentary which required me to be arrested (!)

Magazine

As Office Manager for Business International in London for over five years, I oversaw the production of government reports and roundtables for the company with regular newsletters and books being faxed over the Geneva for printing. To enable this I trained in-house staff on the new WP equipment having designed and instigated the new production style that was now possible.

After having set up my own Office Services business (SYNTAX), I researched, wrote up and DTPed a monthly 8 page newsletter on Alternative and Complemetary Therapies (ACT) which I also printed and circulated free - paid for by advertisements I had obtained. The circulation was upto 600 when I handed it over to a company that could not cope after 2 months. I had run it single handed for over 4 years.

I currently set up a24 page A5 newsletter called 'Echoes' for a client who supplies the copy. It is now bi-monthly, having been monthly up to issue #100. The next issue is #116. The style, covers, logo etc were designed in-house, set up on Ventura and now has had to convert to Publisher.
