Originally from the north of England, Thomas's experience includes stage shows, corporate entertainment, radio, film and a variety of musical acts. He has performed leading roles in stage shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, Grease, The Pirates of Penzance and RENT.

Thomas has performed and hosted at events including the Queensland Tourism Awards, Queensland Pops Orchestra On Broadway, Relay for Life, Redcliffe Festival, QUT Mental Health, Sails Festival, Christmas By The Sea, Scarborough Sounds, Jetty Fiesta and QLD MEA Awards. Directorial credits include Into the Woods, Cinderella, Grease, The Pirates of Penzance, The Wizard of Oz, You're Next and Like A Metaphor which earned over twenty awards for its performances on the 2015/16 Queensland Drama Festival circuit. Trained at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, in early 2016 Thomas lead a cast of 12 to the USA competing in the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, GA where his team; the sole representatives of Australia earned three major awards for their performances in the festival. Following this he completed an east coast tour of Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queens, performed the role of John Bender in The Breakfast Club, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, directed Jesus Christ Superstar starring X Factor winner Altiyan Childs and toured to Mackay with The Octonauts Live.

He is the creator/lead vocalist of World On A String-Live Tribute to Michael Buble’ and Suited To You which have performed throughout Australia and has also had successful seasons of his written and devised shows including Music of the Night, Valentines with the King of Swing and Love, Loss & Luxury and Cirque De La Opera. In early 2017 Thomas originated the role of the Prince in Flaws and All (Adelaide Fringe Festival), will return to perform with the Queensland Pops Orchestra in their Side by Side concert, is directing The Wizard of Oz for Gateway Theatre Productions and will tour to Europe to join the Jersey Tones for their 2017 season in Greece.
