I have featured as the fatsuit posterboy for an Adshel, online, and print ad campaign for a power company in Australia, and a New Zealand banner ad campaign as Onesie Guy. I am available for any commercial character talent work. I do grizzled and slightly deranged pretty well... Beard (or no beard) on demand.

I am also an experienced Santa Claus. Ho, ho, ho.

I write comedic songs for my Middle Earth spoof band The Esgaroth Three (described as "seriously silly), and vintage musical comedy character Hodi O'Ho. You can watch The Esgaroth Three's videos "Who The 'Ell Is Tauriel?" and "Dwarf On A Pig", plus Hodi O'Ho's debut "Friend Of Dorothy", and my very silly done-in-a-day web viral reaction "Gimme A (Relentlessly) Gay Garden, all which I wrote, performed, recorded, and directed, in the video section of my profile here on StarNow. I also voiced, mixed and edited the mashup music video "(Gandalf:) Glad To Be Grey". To date my music videos have together had more than 60,000 views on YouTube. My latest Esgaroth Three video, the Middle Earth/Beatles parody "Rescued By Eagles" is currently in post-production.

As a performer, I have played the role of SAWTOOTH SAM, front man and sometimes lead singer of the NZ/Australian touring incarnation of REDNEX, multi-million selling techno-bluegrass creators of COTTON EYE JOE.

Instrumentally, I mainly play guitar these days, although I can get a relatively pleasant noise out of a ukulele, clarinet, sax, or harmonica at a push. I'm generally the kind of crunchy rhythm player who locks in well with bass and drums -- not a twiddly lead type -- but i'm fairly competent in a rocknroll kickabout.

In the dim and distant past I was part of a guitarry pop band and a rocky blues band, and I spent a while writing and singing comedy songs for shows at university. But that was a -very- long time ago...

I'm always interested to muck about with guitars n stuff, if on a very casual basis at the moment as I'm heavily involved in a number of other creative projects!
